Halfway Around The World

This assignment requires me to create a travel magazine featuring places in Singapore with a rich heritage - Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam.

Making use of only 28 pages, I included a lot of photography of the three locations to entice readers and give them a sense of what these places look like. I played around with colours and typography that were greatly inspired by existing colours in photographs throughout the magazine. This creates a sense of unity. Additionally, the placement of body texts was carefully planned in order to make the magazine digestible and easy to read.

As for my masthead logo, I designed it such that it is split in half to convey the slogan - Halfway Around The World.
